If you cannot log in to your Yola account, are locked out of the account, or cannot find your website after logging in, this guide walks through the most common causes and how to regain access step by step.
General steps to log in
- Go to the Yola login page.
- Enter the email address you used when creating your Yola account.
- Enter your password.
- Click Log in.
If the login fails:
- Make sure Caps Lock is turned off.
- Check that there are no extra spaces before or after your email address.
- Try typing the email and password manually instead of using autofill.
Using the correct login email address
One of the most common reasons customers cannot log in is using the wrong email address.
Keep in mind that each Yola account is tied to one specific email address. If you have multiple email addresses, only one of them is linked to the account that contains your website. If you created more than one Yola account, each account may contain different websites.
How to identify the correct login email:
- Search your inboxes for emails from Yola (subscription renewal reminders, order receipts, or password reset emails).
- Check which email address receives Yola notifications.
- If you purchased a domain or a paid plan, look for receipts from Yola.
If you cannot remember the login email address at all, you may need to recover account access. See the section What to do if you no longer have access to the login email below.
Resetting your password
If you do not remember the password or cannot log in because the password is incorrect:
- On the login page, select Forgot password?
- Enter the email address associated with your Yola account.
- Click Reset password.
- Open the password reset email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
If you are not receiving the reset password email:
- Double-check that you entered the correct login email address.
- Check your Spam or Junk folders.
- Search your inbox for messages from Yola.
- Wait a few minutes and try again.
If the email still does not arrive, it usually means the email address entered does not match a Yola account.
Cannot find your website or domain after logging in
If you can log in but your website is missing, not found, or you cannot see the domain you expect, you are likely logged in to a different Yola account.
This can happen if:
- You created multiple Yola accounts using different email addresses.
- Someone else created the website for you using their own email address.
What to do:
- Log out of your current account.
- Try logging in again using another email address you may have used.
- Check each account for the website or domain you are looking for.
If the website was created by someone else, that person may still be the account owner.
What to do if you no longer have access to the login email
If you cannot access the email address linked to your Yola account and therefore cannot reset your password, you will need to follow the account recovery process.
Refer to the article Recovering account access after losing access to login email for detailed steps on how to regain access securely.
What to do if the login page does not load correctly
If the login page does not load, keeps refreshing, or does not work as expected, the issue is often related to caching or browser extensions.
Try the following general troubleshooting steps:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy tools.
- Try logging in using an incognito or private browsing window.
- Use a different browser or device.
- Ensure your browser is up to date.
After each step, reload the login page and try again.
