If you’ve started a Free Trial with Yola (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), you can cancel it anytime during the 14 days directly from the My Yola dashboard. Canceling your trial ends access to premium hosting features immediately, and you won’t be charged unless you’ve purchased a domain or an online store subscription, since these fees are non-refundable.
Note: Once canceled, your Free Trial cannot be restarted, but you can upgrade to a paid hosting plan at any time.
Where to cancel your Free Trial
- Log into your Yola account and go to My Yola dashboard.
- Open the Account settings and then the Subscriptions page.
- Find the subscription with the trial status next to its name (e.g., Hosting plan: Silver 14-day trial).
- Click the subscription to view its details.
If your plan is in Free Trial, the status will be displayed clearly next to the plan name.
How to cancel a Free Trial
Here’s what you need to do:
- In the subscription details, click Cancel trial.
- The feedback form will open. Here, you’ll see a short survey asking why you’re canceling. Please, complete the form.
- Click Continue to cancel. You will be taken to the confirmation window, where you’ll see the list of changes you will have in your plan after you cancel.
- If you are ready to cancel, click the Cancel subscription button. If you’re having second thoughts, you can click Keep my plan active and proceed with no changes.
Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan immediately, and the premium hosting features will no longer be available.
Important: Once canceled, your Free Trial cannot be restarted, but you can upgrade to a paid hosting plan at any time. If you cancel a trial after registering a custom domain, the domain remains active but is non-refundable.
