Automatic renewal (auto-renewal) keeps your paid subscriptions active by renewing them before they expire. This helps prevent service interruptions, domain loss, or downtime for your website and online store.
Note: You can review our auto-renew policy during the checkout process and upon your confirmation receipt.
Auto-renewal applies to hosting plans, Online Store, domains, and domain-related subscriptions (Yola Mail and Private Domain Registration).
When subscriptions renew
- Yola hosting and Online Store subscriptions renew automatically at the end of their billing cycle.
- Domains renew automatically 15 days before their expiry date. (You will receive an email reminder 30 days before your domain expires)
- Yola Mail and Private Domain Registration (a private WHOIS registration that safeguards your contact information and protects you from spammers and telemarketers) renew at the same time as the domain they are connected to.
How to check if automatic renewal is enabled
You can check the auto-renewal status in your My Yola dashboard.
For hosting plan and Online Store
When in My Yola Dashboard, go to Account settings → Subscriptions. Here you'll see your hosting and Online store plans and their autorenewal status.
To cancel auto-renewal for your hosting and/or Online Store subscription, follow the steps from our dedicated article.
For domains
When in My Yola Dashboard, click Domains on the Topbar. Here you’ll find the status for the domain, its expiration date and renewal status.
If auto-renewal is enabled, you will see the next renewal date displayed, along with a Cancel button. Click the Cancel button if you wish to cancel your domain auto-renewal.
If you see a Renew button next to your domain, it means the domain has already been cancelled or auto-renewal is currently disabled.
Important: Private Domain Registration and Yola Mail auto-renewal cannot be managed separately. If you disable auto-renewal for a domain, it will also disable it for Private Domain Registration and Yola Mail linked to that domain. If you need to disable auto-renewal for Private Domain Registration or Yola Mail only, please contact Yola Support.

Security of automatic renewal
Your payment details are stored securely and processed through a PCI-compliant payment system. Yola does not store full credit card details directly on its servers.
Additional notes
- If you renew a subscription manually before it expires, auto-renewal may be enabled again.
- Disabling auto-renewal for one subscription does not affect other domains or subscriptions in your account.
