Setting up your mailbox with an email client

When in  My Yola dashboard, go to the Email tab on the Topbar and scroll down to the External email client setup section. You can use the information from it to set up your mailbox with an email client.

To set up a mailbox with Outlook or Apple Mail, use the following general settings: 

Replace "mailbox," "yourdomain.com," and "your password" with your own information.

General

Name: Your name

Address: mailbox@yourdomain.com

Password: Your password

Description: Description for your mailbox

 

Incoming Mail Server

Hostname: mail.yolamail.com

User name: mailbox@yourdomain.com

Password: Your password

 

Outgoing Mail Server

Hostname: mail.yolamail.com

User name: mailbox@yourdomain.com

Password: Your password

 

Ports

IMAP: 143 or 993 (SSL) POP: 110 or 995 (SSL) SMTP: 25, 587, or 465 (SSL)

If you have any problems with setting up your mail when creating your external email account, try switching the port settings.

Also, ensure that the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" checkbox is checked.
