This article answers the most frequently asked questions about Yola’s website refreshment service.
I’ve filled out a short form for the refreshment, but nobody has contacted me yet. Why?
Submitting a short form for refreshment guarantees you’ve joined the waitlist. There can be two reasons that we haven’t contacted you yet:
- Your website is not eligible for migration. This means that either your site has features we can’t reproduce with Sitebuilder+, or such features were specified as desired
- (for example, blog feature). In this case, you have to remain on the waiting list until the platform evolves and we can offer you a migration.
- All our designers are assigned to other refreshment projects listed before you, so you have to wait for your turn.
If I change my mind about refreshing my website in the middle of the process, what should I do?
It is totally OK to change your mind or have concerns about changes, modifications, or publishing of your website. Just make sure you notify us about it via the assigned email ASAP, explaining the reasons for your concerns or objections so that we can investigate those reasons and attempt to resolve the issues. If we are unable to resolve the issues within 7 business days, either party may cancel the service.
What will happen to my original website?
Your Sitebuilder Classic-based website will be unpublished, but it will remain available in the editor along with all the content, including the downloaded files. You can always return to it, open in the editor, download a file you need, or even publish it again.
Will my refreshed website be search engine-optimized?
When refreshing your website, we ensure to transfer the exact settings as on the original site, for example, meta tags. If you specify the new tags you want to add to the refreshed site, we can also add them for you. However, the refreshment service does not include search engine optimization in a broader sense, such as making your content SEO-friendly, improving site structure for SEO, etc.
What if I don’t like the refreshed website? What should I do?
This is very unlikely to happen since we confirm all the changes and modifications with you during the refreshment process. However, if you have any objections, please notify the assigned designer about it via email ASAP, explaining the reasons. Our team will do its best to resolve the issues.
Can I get more than one site refreshed?
Yes, you can. You need to fill out the form for each website separately and wait to be contacted.
How much time does the refreshment take?
Every website is different, so are the website owners’ requests for refreshment. This is why the time estimates are always individual. The approximate timing for the refreshment realization can be specified only after we evaluate your site and agree on what changes need to be made.
