Managing your links

There are many actions you can assign to the website links that you've just created. Let's explore in more detail.

Adding a link to another page

Here's how you can add a text link to another page on your website:

1. Navigate to the area on your page where you want to create a text link.

2. Highlight the text you want to link.

3. A menu will be activated. Click the Link icon.

4. In the Click action drop-down menu choose the Open a page option.

5. If you have a multilingual site, you will have an option to select the language of the page:

6. Choose a page you want to link to from the drop-down menu.

7. Optional: change the title of the link as you would like it to appear on the page.

8. Click Submit to create a text link to a URL.

Adding a link to another website

Here's how you can add a text link that would lead to another website:

1. Navigate to the area on your page where you want to create a text link.

2. Highlight the text you want to link.

3. In the menu, click the Link icon.

4. In the Click action drop-down menu choose the Open a web address option.

5. Enter the URL that would become a link destination. Optionally, enable the option Open in a new tab.

6. Consider checking the option Add a nofollow tag for improved SEO. Learn more about nofollow links here.

7. Click Submit to create a text link to a URL. 

Adding a link to another block

You can make the user appear in another block when clicking the link. For example, you can make him jump to a pricing list, a menu, or a contact page. To do this:

1. Highlight the text that would become such a link and click the Link icon.

2. In the drop-down menu, choose the option Scroll to a block.

3. In the drop-down menu that appears below, find the block to which you want to link. In this example, it's Images:

4. Click Submit and publish your site to make the changes live.
