How to switch to another template

In Sitebuilder+, you can fully reset your website or switch to another template. This is helpful when you want to completely overhaul the look and feel of your website or even erase everything and start from scratch. 

Switching vs. Resetting

Template switching allows you to keep all your existing content, including text, images, pages, links, downloadable files, and more, while changing the overall design of your site.

Resetting a site deletes all your existing content and allows you to create a completely new site.

Template switching

To switch the template of your site while keeping the content, follow these steps:

  1. Click Design in the Topbar of the Sitebuilder.

    Screenshot.pngAlternatively, click the Menu button (three horizontal lines) at the top-left corner of the Sitebuilder, and then choose the Design option in the Sidebar.

  2. In the Website design settings, go to the Templates tab and click the Switch template button.

  3. You will be taken to the Template gallery. Choose the new template you want to use. Use the convenient category list  to locate the best-suited design for your website or business quickly.

  4. Once done, click Use this template and continue to set up your new site.

Resetting your site

To completely reset your site and start from scratch, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Menu button (three horizontal lines) at the top-left corner of the Sitebuilder, and then choose the Settings option in the Sidebar.

  2. In the General tab, scroll down to the red highlighted Danger zone area. Click Reset site.

  3. In the pop-up window, type RESET to confirm this action. Click Submit.
  4. You will be taken to the Template gallery. Choose the new template you want to use. Use the convenient category list to locate the best-suited design for your website or business quickly.

  5. Once done, click Use this template and continue to set up your new site.
