You can renew your domain or recover an expired domain from the Domains page in your Yola account.
Yola supports a variety of currencies for domain renewal payments, and the cost of your renewal depends on the domain extension you have purchased.
Renewing your domain name does not renew your hosting or Online Store plans. These subscriptions must be renewed separately.
Renewing an active domain
If your domain subscription is still active, follow these steps to renew it:
- Log in to your Yola account and access the Domains page.
- If you have domains currently registered with Yola, you will see the expiration date for each domain.
-
To renew one of them, click the Renew button next to the domain's expiration date.
- You will then be taken to the checkout screen, where you can choose the length of the domain’s registration period (one, two, or five years), and select whether you also want to renew Yola Mail and Private Domain Registration.
If you cannot see the Renew button, this means that your domain is scheduled to renew automatically on the date shown under "Auto-renews on."
Renewing an expired domain
If your domain has already expired, you can attempt to recover it by following the steps below.
- On the Domains page, locate the domain name that has expired.
-
Click the Try to renew link next to your expired domain.
- At checkout, choose your renewal term and whether you want to renew Yola Mail and Private Domain Registration as well.
- Click the Buy Now button to complete the checkout process.
If you can no longer see your expired domain in the list, it most likely means that the renewal window has already passed. You can check whether the domain is available for purchase as a new domain by following the steps in Purchasing a custom domain.
If the domain is not available for purchase, it may already be registered with another registrar. Contact Customer Support for more information.
